I know I must be dreaming, but it all seems so real

This world isn’t my world, these aren’t my feelings that I feel

And I know you’re right beside me, but you seem so far away

Please wake me up, or shake me, or throw water in my face

                 And I’m dreaming, in a land where I can’t fly

I’m standing by an ocean, but the blue’s a different blue

And the waves are so much bigger than the waves that I’m used to

The roar of this ocean reminds me of my home

Though I know you must be near, I still feel so alone
